Hourly Rate:

My pricing structure is based upon a rate of $40.00 per hour — which is broken down into 15-minute intervals. Why do I charge by the hour instead of offering a set price for a particular service? I don't feel you should pay a set price for a service that may take very little time to complete. Charging for the amount of time I spend on your project is the most honest and fair method I can think of.

I use the software program, MacFreelance, to log my time and to generate my invoices — this way you know exactly what you're paying for. My prices are highly competitive when compared to other, similar services.

Estimates:

My estimates are based upon the amount of time I think a project will take to complete based upon my past experience with similar projects. In order to prevent any surprises along the way, I offer a high estimate on my time so that you will have an idea of what the maximum cost might be. I usually finish in less time than I estimate and, in the rare occurance I take longer, my price is capped at the estimate I offered —  so you won't be paying more than what was agreed upon. Nobody like surprises and you won't receive any at Cellar Studio Designs!
